Mr John began his journey in Tourism in Melbourne in 1990 when he began working as a Japanese speaking driver guide for Japanese customers in the city which he was born and raised. Prior to this, he had spent a number of years in Japan - Tokyo, Chiba and Miyazaki studying, working and growing his passion for the language and culture. In 1998, he decided to become independent and established 'Mr John Tours'. With over 30 years of experience, John and his staff continue to aim to provide a fun and enjoyable tour full of memories for our domestic and international customers! We hope to see you on one of our tailor-made tours soon :)

The last thing you want after finally taking some hard-earned leave to go on holiday within your home city, interstate or overseas is to then have to waste it by piling onto a bus of 20 people upwards! This generally means slow, inflexible and cookie cutter tour schedules with no room for any personal touches! This is what we want to avoid at Mr John Tours.
Our tours are capped at 11 people max and generaly range in size from 3-6 peoples. This mean more flexibilty, greater customer service and ofcourse a personal touch!
